Jessika's Theme
Another very old song, from the time I apparently found it necessary to write about girls and wrote everything down the way I played it, without providing a lead sheet.
This is a waltz in a standard AABA-form. Listening to it now I think it was influenced by a great album by Bill Evans, "You Must Believe In Spring," on which bassist Eddie Gomez still hits the notes in stead of playing off-key.
It is a true piano piece. I can imagine a piano trio, but a lead on a horn just doesn't seem right.
If you cannot see the score, get the Sibelius Scorch plug-in here.
